All about vacuum roller massage
Vacuum roller massage is rightfully considered the most effective technology for body shaping and cellulite treatment.
Operating principle
The manipula of the device captures the skin fold to the thickness of the layer in which cellulite develops and mechanically breaks the fatty component of the dermis with the help of rollers moving in different directions.
Vacuum therapy does not block metabolic wastes inside the body, but helps to remove them outside, freeing soft tissues from metabolic products that have accumulated in them for years.
Vacuum cupping massage is actively used in cosmetology for the treatment of local cellulite in the buttocks, on the back of the thighs and in the "breeches" zone, as well as to eliminate the "orange peel" effect. The vacuum created during the vacuum massage increases the supply of oxygen to tissues, the metabolic rate and improves blood circulation. This effect contributes to the renewal and strengthening of the skin, stimulation of lymphatic drainage, which leads to the elimination of the "orange peel", and the subcutaneous fatty tissue is also leveled. The recommended course is 10-20 sessions.
Vacuum facial massage
In cosmetology, a delicate vacuum facial massage is used. It helps to smooth wrinkles, improves complexion, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, makes the skin more elastic. In the hands of a competent specialist, vacuum massage becomes an excellent tool for correcting some local imperfections of the face contour, for example, in a few sessions you can get rid of a double chin. If the procedure is carried out incorrectly, the formation of hematomas and an increase in rosacea are possible. One session of vacuum facial massage lasts 5-10 minutes.
Vacuum body massage
There are special techniques for conducting vacuum massage based on the principles of reflexology. This means that the surface of the body is divided into zones, each zone is associated with the function of internal organs. During the massage, the vacuum affects not only the skin receptors, but also the active points, and therefore on certain organs, thereby providing a healing effect on the entire body. Stress, chronic fatigue, irritability will not resist vacuum massage. Vacuum cupping massage can become part of a comprehensive treatment along with other therapeutic and prophylactic measures such as acupuncture, manual therapy, physiotherapy exercises and the use of medications.
There are few contraindications for vacuum massage, however, they exist. It is recommended to refuse sessions of vacuum massage in case of acute inflammatory diseases of internal organs, with skin defects in the area of the intended effect, with thrombophlebitis, cardiovascular diseases, acute diseases and exacerbation of chronic diseases. Cholelithiasis and urolithiasis are also contraindications. A preliminary consultation with a doctor before the procedure is required.
Vacuum massage treats using cans, inside which a vacuum is created, usually by burning oxygen. The created vacuum during vacuum massage increases the supply of oxygen to tissues, the intensity of metabolism, and improves blood circulation. These effects contribute to the renewal and strengthening of the skin, and the stimulation of lymphatic drainage, which even leads to the elimination of the "orange peel" effect.
Vacuum massage has both cosmetic and therapeutic effects. In cosmetology, vacuum massage is actively used to treat local cellulite in the buttocks, on the back of the thighs and the breeches zone, as well as to eliminate the orange peel effect. But vacuum massage can be applied to the whole body. Cellulite treatment schemes have been developed, where vacuum massage is combined with radio wave lifting or ultrasonic cavitation. The latter destroy fat cells, and vacuum massage, increasing the lymph flow, cleanses the body of their decay products. In addition, vacuum massage tones the muscles, carrying out a slight lifting, restores skin elasticity, promotes the resorption of scar tissue and stretch marks. Therefore, vacuum massage is used to improve and strengthen body contours, that is, shape modeling, to smooth wrinkles, improve complexion and correct local imperfections of the face oval, double chin.
Vacuum massage has a wonderful healing effect on muscle back pain. In this case, the emphasis is on especially painful places before the pain signal is removed (especially in the "pain nodes" on the shoulder blades and lower back). Vacuum cupping massage performed on muscles and tendons causes significant relaxation. The criterion for the time of exposure to vacuum massage is the appearance of persistent redness of the skin. The movements of the cans are made in a centrifugal circular direction, but always end in the direction of venous outflow - up along the spine and to the sides or down to the lower back and groin. Typical areas of exposure to therapeutic vacuum massage: collar and neck, back, lumbar region, thigh, buttocks, shoulder, lower leg. Banks are also placed on the stomach - when the internal organs are lowered in the abdomen and small pelvis. In addition to relieving pain, vacuum massage is used to treat hypertension, angina pectoris, headaches, gynecological diseases, vascular dystonia and insomnia.
Vacuum massage - classic
Classic vacuum massage most often uses glass jars with thickened edges with a capacity of 50-100 ml. Vacuum massage is carried out through a contact medium - vaseline or vegetable oil with the addition of aromatic oils, lipoactive gels with medicinal properties. Jars are applied to the oiled skin, which should firmly adhere to the skin. The vacuum in the jar is created by introducing a burning cotton swab dipped in alcohol. After that, the burning tampon is quickly removed and the jar is placed on the skin. Then the massage therapist moves the cups, which causes a local rush of blood to the skin, boosting metabolism and destroying fat cells. The usual duration of a vacuum massage is 15-20 minutes.
The problem area is treated with a volumetric nozzle that creates a vacuum. Vacuum massage with hardware attachments is performed due to the gentle suction of the skin and rolling it in any direction. At the same time, the masseur makes circular movements, gently pressing on the skin. The procedure takes about 30 minutes. The result becomes noticeable after 5-8 sessions.
Hardware vacuum massage
Also, vacuum massage is carried out using special devices that allow you to quickly and painlessly destroy large fat formations under the skin and establish lymph drainage, due to which accumulated toxins are removed and puffiness is eliminated. Modern devices regulate the pressure of vacuum massage, and the level of intensity of the effect is selected in accordance with the sensitivity of the skin.
Based on the principles of reflexology, according to which the body surface is divided into zones closely related to the function of internal organs, the vacuum created during massage affects not only skin receptors, but also active points. This leads not only to local, but also to a general healing effect on the body, relieving nervous fatigue and stress. Most often, vacuum cupping massage is included in complex treatment along with other therapeutic and prophylactic measures, such as acupuncture, manual therapy, exercise therapy, drug treatment.
Vacuum massage is rightfully recognized as a universal medical and cosmetic procedure, which is reflected in a wide range of its applications. Rare moments when you are advised to refrain from vacuum massage sessions are acute inflammatory diseases of internal organs, skin defect in the area of exposure, gall and urolithiasis, and recurrent thrombophlebitis. The appearance of multiple bruises on the skin is not a complication, but a normal skin reaction to vacuum massage, they will pass on their own, in a fairly short time.
Indications : the need to stimulate blood and lymph circulation, regeneration processes, enhance the formation of collagen, activate the process of biosynthesis (with an increase in the flow of oxygen to the tissues), increase the bioenergetic potential of cells.
Private indications : cellulite, skin stretch marks (striae), obesity, saggy belly, facelift.

Acute respiratory diseases (flu, etc.) at temperatures above 37.5 ° C.
Thrombophlebitis.
Benign and malignant neoplasms.
Inflammatory processes on the skin.
Hematomas.
Lymphostasis.
Acute trauma to the musculoskeletal system.
Diseases of the blood.
Active form of tuberculosis.
The methodology and technique of general massage techniques using the apparatus is based on the following basic rules.
1. All massage techniques should be performed along the blood vessels and lymphatic pathways, towards the nearest lymph nodes.
2. Lymph nodes should not be massaged.
3. Moles, papillomas, boils should not be massaged.
4. The position of the massaged person should exclude tension of the massaged parts and allow the body to relax as much as possible.
5. When performing any technique, it is necessary to observe a certain rhythm and tempo of movements.
Vacuum massage can be performed in various positions: lying, sitting, standing; the main thing is that the massaged person is in a comfortable position for him, and the muscles and joints of the massaged part of the body are optimally relaxed.
During vacuum massage, blood flow to the massaged area is increased due to the expansion of arterioles and capillaries, the skin temperature rises by 2-3 ° C, the amount of oxygen supplied to the tissues increases, and metabolic processes improve. The venous outflow of blood improves and metabolic products are removed.
Vacuum massage uses two methods.
1. Labile method (sliding). The recommended vacuum in the nozzle with this method is 10-20 kPa. The labile method of vacuum massage is used on those areas of the body where the subcutaneous layer is well developed.
The movement during the massage is carried out along the lymphatic and blood vessels in a straight line. Thus, vacuum massage promotes the outflow of lymph and blood.
During the entire procedure, the nozzle should move smoothly, without jerking and without pressure on the tissue. The massage should not be painful. Otherwise, the vacuum value in the nozzle should be reduced.
2. Stable method (stationary) - the nozzle is positioned in one place for 1-2 minutes. The recommended vacuum in the nozzle for this method is 15-30 kPa.
The optimal exposure time for one area is 2-3 minutes, but not more than 5 minutes.
At the beginning of the course of massage with the help of the apparatus, the duration should be 8-10 minutes, then the duration is increased to 15-20 minutes. A vacuum massage lasting more than 20 minutes causes a feeling of fatigue.
Vacuum massage should be performed no more than 2-3 times a week, preferably in the afternoon. The number of procedures is determined individually, depending on their tolerance, the nature of the disease, age - usually 10-15 procedures. Breaks between courses should be 2-3 months.
Lubricants
When carrying out vacuum massage with the help of the device, DO NOT USE TALC due to the possible breakdown of the device.
If a poor "sliding" effect is observed during the massage, you can use a small amount of any lubricant (petroleum jelly, olive oil, stone oil, etc.).
